The Cove
Portuguese Cove fronts the main shipping
channel into Halifax Harbour and provides
excellent viewing of all the ships coming and
going at the busy port including spectacular
views of cruise ships.

port but now only hosts a single working fish

A mother cat was killed or
abandoned its litter in East
Hants county. A loving
couple found these young
cats, no doubt very hungry,
and weaned them by hand.
Two were adopted by others
and I picked up the
remaining two. They were
about 5 weeks old when they
arrived at our place,
weighing 11 ounces each.
Well today after three weeks
the male weighs 1 lb. 13
ounces and the female
weighs 1 lb. 11 ounces. They
are gentle and very
affectionate and follow us
from room to room. Both the
vet and I agree that these
cats are predominatly Maine
Coon Cat or Norwegian
Forest Cat. Lots of photos to
follow as they grow.
