North American Species In Decline
Several North American species have been in continental decline in recent years. This section
compares the year over year population trends of some of these common birds that are in
continental decline and how they are faring in Nova Scotia, based on Nova Scotia Migration
Count records. All annual records are equalized to 1000 observers per year, to allow for a fair
year over year comparison.
